Explore with us as we deploy solar technologies that produce the healthiest renewable water, and the cleanest sustainable sea salt, using the Sun's rays, from a plentiful water resource that covers more than 70% of our beautiful planet.
Our Mission: To develop and deploy solar desalination systems that produce healthy, renewable water and clean, sustainable sea salt, in an effort to help curb water conflict and crises.

…and enjoy the best local sea salt, while supporting a sustainable and water secure future. We have put together a video series bringing all of our adjacent industries together, from the culinary and sustainability folks, to regulatory agencies and water civil engineering firms.
Our personal favorites are the chefs' stories. We spotlight chefs, food makers and restaurants that are doing their part to lessen their environmental impact, all while serving the healthiest food possible. Why do salt makers use tons of fossil fuels to evaporate freshwater - a valuable resource - out of seawater to collect the salt? We can also point the finger at watermakers: why do they too rely on fossil fuels to extract freshwater from seawater, only to dump the resulting hyper-salinated brine - as well as toxic chemicals used during the reverse osmosis process - back into the ocean?
Isn't there a way to extract valuable freshwater - as well as valuable minerals - all while raising seawater quality? Shouldn’t it be possible to use Solar Thermal energy, pretty much in the same way that Mother Nature has executed this process since the beginning of time?
There absolutely are better ways to accomplish these goals. So why are these methods not being used? Large scale desalination can be done with zero waste, without dumping any toxic chemicals or hypersaline brine back into our water sources. This process can help develop sustainable arid agriculture, help global coastal communities build a thriving agricultural economy, and even help curb water conflict, alleviate regional drought, and mitigate negative health effects from water borne diseases. For those who already have access to clean water, this system could provide a water option that's even cleaner. The possibilities are endless.
